Dieppe, NB – It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Nicole Gautreau, 55, that occurred on Thursday, September 24 ^th , 2026. 

Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Georges Doucette and Odile Doucette (Johnson). Nicole grew up in Memramcook and later moved to Dieppe with her husband and family.

Nicole worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital. She was a loving wife and mother who cherished spending time at the beach with family and friends. Nicole had a passion for running and staying active, having completed several full marathons.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 32 years of marriage, Jacques Gautreau; her two daughters: Emilie Gautreau (James LeBlanc) and Valerie Gautreau both of Dieppe; her mother, Odile Doucette of Dieppe; her brother, Paul Doucette of Moncton; her sister, Tina Doucette of Cap-Pelé. Nicole will also be missed by her extended Gautreau, Doucette and Johnson family and many friends. 

She will be remembered for her love of family, her kindness, and her generosity

Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506) 857-1901, on Friday, October 2nd ^, from 1 to 4 pm only, followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 4 pm.
