1942 ~ 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannine Thébeau (née Pellerin), 83, on Saturday, February 21st, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.

Born in Cocagne, she was the daughter of the late Émile and late Doris (Goguen) Pellerin.

Jeannine loved her family deeply, and her granddaughter, Celine, was her greatest pride and joy. She also loved spending time talking with her family and friends, and had a special love for animals, especially dogs.  Her presence and affection will be remembered by all who were fortunate to have known her.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Lise (Charles) Despres of Cocagne; her son, Marc (Danielle) Thébeau of Saint-Antoine; and especially by her granddaughter, Celine Despres.

Jeannine also leaves to mourn her sister and brothers: Murielle LeBlanc (late Élisée) of Bouctouche, Donald Pellerin (Dorca) of Cocagne, and Valmond Pellerin (Marie-Paul) of Haute-Aboujagane; her brother-in-law, Gérald Léger (late Lucille) of Saint-Antoine; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She now rests with her sister, Lucille, her brothers, Raymond and Normand, and her two younger sisters, Annette and Marie, who passed away as infants, as well as the father of her children, Auguste Thébeau.

In respect to her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. 

 In her memory, donations may be made to PAW (Moncton SPCA) or to Pépère Boite à lunch.
