1948 ~ 2026
Gerri LeBlanc, 78, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, and entered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour.
Born in Dieppe on January 18th, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Willie and the late Lorraine LeBlanc (Belliveau).
Gerri leaves behind her siblings: Lynne LeBlanc of Memramcook, Bernice Richard (Paul), Richard “Cy” LeBlanc (Jocelyne Arseneau), Eugene LeBlanc (Germaine) all three of Dieppe, Pauline Bourque (late Clarence) of Moncton, Emery LeBlanc (Denise Turgeon) of Montreal, and Bernard LeBlanc (Ginette) of Ocala, FL; her forever great friend, Rachel; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters: Claudia (2004) and Joanne (2026); as well as her brothers: Vincent (1999), Donald (2009), and Joseph (2024).
Gerri dedicated more than 30 years of service to the Public Service Pension Centre (DSS). She had a love for singing and was deeply rooted in her faith, joyfully praising her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at the Auberge du Soleil. Also special thanks to Dr. Sean Gormley and Dr. Fatimah Al-Ani for their kindhearted care.
Visitations will be held at Passage (3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge) on Thursday, June 11th, 2026, from 3:00pm until 6:00pm, and again on Friday, June 12th, 2026, from 9:00am until 10:30am. A celebration of Gerri’s life will take place at the Shediac Bay Community Church (28 Roy Mollins Drive, Shediac) at 11:00am.
As per Gerri’s request, no flowers please. Donations made to the Shediac Bay Community Church or to the Moncton SPCA (PAW) would be greatly appreciated.
