1944 ~ 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clairina “Claire” Boucher, 81, on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, surrounded by her family at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Lac Baker, she was the daughter of the late Salomon Nadeau and the late Albina Tardif.
Claire will be sadly missed by her daughter, Andrée Bourque (Réjean) of Dieppe; her grandchildren: Zachary Bourque and Antoni Bourque; her sisters: Ginette Bolduc (Germain) of Lac Baker, Claudette Pelletier (late Maurice) and Rolande Pelletier (late Raynold) both of Maine, USA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bélonie Boucher.
Claire is finally at the end of her suffering, now gone to be with her “babe.” She was known for her big heart, showing her love right up until her final moments. She was loved by everyone she met and had a special way of making people laugh. Clairina deeply adored her “little family,” as she would say, especially her grandchildren, who meant the world to her. In her quiet moments, she enjoyed coloring and watching TV, finding simple joys that reflected her warm and gentle spirit.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Auberge du Soleil for the care they provided. Also, special thanks to the palliative doctors as well as the Extra Mural Staff.
In respect to Claire’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service held at this time.
Donations in memory of Claire can be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
