1949 – 2026

Bernadette Belliveau of Shediac passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, April 6, 2026.

Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Ruth (Thurber) Belliveau.

Bernadette was a dedicated nurse who worked for many years at the Stella‑Maris‑de‑Kent Hospital and L’Manoir St. Jean-Baptiste Residence in Bouctouche. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—she was an avid card player and enjoyed playing Keno. Above all, Bernadette cherished the time she spent with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her son, Denis Collette (Shelli) of Salisbury; her beloved grandchildren, Kianna and Kody; her sisters, Jean Belliveau and Clara Goodwin; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bernadette was predeceased by her brothers, Al, Todd, Lorry, and Eddie Belliveau.

Visitation will be held at Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre, 214 Pine Glen Rd., Riverview (506-857-9544), on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm, with prayers to be held at 5:30 pm.

Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
