Nova Scotia Woman Ticketed For Distracted Driving After Collision

As Codiac RCMP is stepping up enforcement realted to distracted driving, a Nova Scotia woman has been ticketed for that very thing after a collision in Maugerville.

On August 1st, officers were called to a crash where a westbound pickup truck crossed the centre line and hit an oncoming SUV.

The woman driving the SUV was taken to hospital with minor injuries – while a second woman and infant were unhurt.

The 33-year old driver of the pickup from Kings County, Nova Scotia was also uninjured and given a ticket.
