No Word On Connection Between School Threats

Still no word on whether or not school threats that were called into three school across the province, and several others in the United States, were connected.

Riverview High was under lockdown for just over an hour yesterday after the threat was called in at around 11:30am. Bomb threats were also received at Devon Middle School in Fredericton and at Forest Hills School in Saint John.

Calls also came in to a school in PEI, Bangor and in Portland, Maine and in a couple of other states.

Schools were searched, but authorities says they turned up nothing.

Several of the schools reported that the threat came by phone as a computerized message.
