No Further Details Yet On Police Operation In Petitcodiac

Still no word on the reason for police activity in the Petiticodiac area on Monday.

RCMP tweeted yesterday afternoon that Route 106 and Plantation Road in Petitcodiac were closed to traffic, due to what they were calling a police operation.

No further information has been provided to this point.

There’s no word on whether or not officers remain in that area this morning.

Due to a police operation, Route 106 and Plantation Road in Petitcodiac, N.B. are closed to traffic. People are asked to avoid the area until further notice.
