Horizon Health Network announced who will be taking over the position of local Chief of Staff in Moncton.
In his new role, Dr. Serge Melanson is responsible to advise the Regional Medical Advisory on the quality of care and safety topics, as well as advise the Regional Chief of Staff on subjects involving health care access for Greater Monctonians.
He will also chair the Local Medical Advisory Committee for the Moncton area.
For the last 12 years, Dr. Melanson has been an active member of the Emergency Department at the Moncton Hospital among other roles.
He will take over his new duties and responsibilities September 1st.
