New Learning Centre For Entrepreneurs Opens In Moncton

A local company has opened a new learning centre that will offer assistance to small businesses and entrepreneurs.

The training centre, that is run by Stancewise, is located on Millenium Boulevard.

Owner Karl Roy says their aim is to teach modern methods including social media and also how to market a business, “Being an Entrepreneur and working for myself, I had to figure out a lot of stuff for myself. I really wanted to build a product or a system that I could assist others with the same goals or visions as I had wanting to start out.”

Roy says they are a membership style business, much like a gym, “We wanted to put a product out there, that people would have continued access to. There are ongoing weekly workshops that people will be able to come to and take part in.”

Workshops will include, Web Strategy, Business Plan Essentials, Ad Design and Social Media Marketing.

“Our approach is very business minded, so because we are also doing business training. Many people are doing Social media training or social media workshops or marketing, but ours is going to be very business centric,” Roy says.
