New COVID-19 Rules For Travellers Going To PEI

PEI is introducing new measures in an effort to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Premier Dennis King announced the changes during a news conference held this morning.

As of 8am Wednesday morning, anyone arriving from out of province will be required to isolate for four days.

They will be issued tests to be done on days two and four.

King added, if someone chooses to stay with others when they arrive, they will all have to isolate.

Twenty-nine new cases of COVID-19 were reported for PEI today, bringing their total number of active cases to 112.
