New CEO for Greater Moncton Chamber

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Moncton has a new chief executive officer.

Nadine Fullarton has been appointed to the role following a months-long selection process.

“We met some great candidates during the recruitment process. Nadine emerged as the perfect fit and the best candidate for the role,” said Michelle Duffie, chair of the chamber.

“The transition will be smooth; she’s very well-known in the chamber network and will do an amazing job. We are thrilled she has accepted the role.”

Fullarton has more than 16 years of experience in the non-profit industry association sector, according to a news release from the chamber.

Her previous positions include president of the Construction Association of New Brunswick – Moncton Northeast and the Mechanical Contractors Association of New Brunswick, where she represented 400 employer-based members for the past seven years.

She has also served as the executive director of the New Brunswick Association of Consulting Engineering Companies and the Newfoundland Association of Consulting Engineering Companies.

“I want to thank the board of directors for putting their trust in me and I am beyond thrilled to be joining this dynamic organization and am dedicated to contributing to the community’s success,” Fullarton said in the release.

She also went on to thank outgoing CEO John Wishart, who is retiring at the end of February after six-and-a-half years in the role.
