The Brian Gallant Liberals have announced their shadow cabinet, who they say will dispense with traditional adversarial opposition, and will instead provide constructive criticism to the PC minority government.
Dieppe MLA Roger Melanson is responsible for the Treasury Board and the Department of Finance; while Moncton South MLA Cathy Rogers will cover Service New Brunswick, and the Environment portfolio.
Moncton Centre rookie MLA Rob McKee is taking on the portfolio of Justice and the Attorney General; and Moncton East MLA Monique LeBlanc will monitor La Francophonie and Women’s Equality.
Rounding out local Liberal MLAs, is Brian Gallant in Shediac Bay – Dieppe who will watch the Official Languages portfolio, on top of his role as Leader of the Official Opposition.
