Nearly 8000 homes and businesses in New Brunswick are off the grid as of mid-morning today.
Most of those outages are in the northern portion of the province and NB Power says they were caused by heavy snow and winds and they are relocating crews this morning to help.
More than 2200 customers are without power in Tracadie, over 2000 in Bathurst, more than 1000 in Grand Falls, and over 400 in the Fredericton area.
