Nearly 2000 COVID-19 Vaccines Expected In NB Next Week

The sped-up federal rollout of one COVID-19 vaccine has an impact provincially.

Officials with the provincial government learned late Monday afternoon, it expects New Brunswick to receive up to 1,950 doses of vaccine around December 14th as part of the first of two shipments that could happen this month.

They are working to identify the priority groups that will receive the vaccine in the first phase of vaccinations based on recommendations from the federal government.

Any further doses arriving before January will be provided to members of those priority groups based on New Brunswick’s operational plan.
