Provincial Liberal leader Brian Gallant’s proposed strategy to create jobs is a recipe for bigger and better Atcons according to NDP leader Dominic Cardy.
He tells CHSJ News creating a new Crown Corporation called Opportunities New Brunswick is not what businesses need. Cardy says he has never heard a business owner say what we need to get more people hired is formation of a crown corporation but what they do need is less political interference.
As for Gallant taking charge by setting and enforcing job creation targets, Cardy questions his management abilities.
The NDP is proposing tax credits for each job that’s created, not promised to be created at some point in the future, along with elimination of the small business tax.
