NB Will Receive Rain From Storm Remnants

The remnants of Tropical Storm Colin will likely create strong surf and heavy rain for Nova Scotia.

However, Environment Canada says New Brunswick will feel less of an impact from the third named storm of the 2016 Atlantic Hurricane Season.

Meteorologist Claude Cote says the remnants of the storm will actually feed into a low pressure system moving across the province.

“We’re looking at fairly wet conditions. It will be unsettled also and we could see some thunderstorm activity as a low presure system moves across the province,” he notes.

Cote says Southern New Brunswick should expect about 25 mm of rain by Thursday and it will turn much cooler with temperatures as much as 10 degrees below normal for early June.
