If you have a cell phone you may have received a text over the last few days from NB Power.
It is telling you to hit a link to get funds sent by the utility.
Do Not Open that link because it is a scam.

NB Power went to Twitter on Monday to say “in a growing text message con, scammers are claiming to offer a reimbursement from NB Power and other companies in an effort to grab cash.”
The utility goes on to say do not open the link in the text, instead, you should contact the Canada Anti Fraud Centre.
