NB Power Crews Standing By As Fiona Approaches

As the storm system evolves, NB Power has crews on standby ready to respond if outages occur as Fiona hits.

Spokesperson Dominique Couture says the utility has secured additional contractor crews who are ready to be sent out if needed.

Couture says there is still some uncertainty with the exact storm track, so they are keeping a close eye on forecasts.

Customers are reminded to prepare a 72-hour emergency kit before the weekend..
