A New Brunswick man who pleaded guilty to the second degree murder of his spouse will spend life in prison, with no chance of parole for 15 years.
Fifty-six- year old Gilles Moreau was sentenced this week in Campbellton.
He was originally charged with first degree murder, but pleaded guilty to second degree.
In 2018, RCMP were called to a home in Dundee in northern New Brunswick to check on the well being of a 54 year old woman.
Police later discovered the bones of Brigitte Pelletier on the property.
