A 20-year-old man has been charged after an assault in the northeast part of the province.
RCMP were called to a home yesterday afternoon where a 48-year-old man had been assaulted and was lying unconscious.
He was taken to hospital, where he later died.
An autopsy is scheduled for today to determine exact cause of death.
Jérémie Brideau of Leech, has been charged with manslaughter.
He has been remanded into custody until his next court appearance.
