NB Gas Prices Set To Spike

Drivers in New Brunswick should brace for a big jump in gas prices this week.

Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says gasoline could rise by almost 5 cents per litre at midnight when the provincial Energy and Utilities Board makes a price adjustment.

Gas prices have been rising across the country in recent days.

In Metro Moncton, regular self-serve is currently selling for about $1.049 per litre.

Diesel may go up by almost 4 cents per litre this week.
