As expected, gas prices are up this week.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board made its price adjustment at midnight, and the cost of regular self serve is up by 2.0 cents a litre.
Most stations in Moncton are selling for around 117.0.
But Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague of Gasbuddy.com says not to worry, he expects there are decreases to come.
He says, “Towards July 1st, we can actually see prices drop by three or four, maybe even five cents a litre.”
As for other fuel prices, diesel and furnace oil dipped by 0.3 cents a litre. Propane is down by 0.8.
