NB Gas Prices Increase Again

Another week, another increase at the pumps.

Regular self service gas is up by 1.4 cents a litre after an increase overnight by the Energy and Utilities Board.

Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says there’s some instability in the market right now.

He says, “It has a lot to do with hyper speculation, several refineries that showed some signs of fatigue and shut down.”

But he firmly believes there will are decreases coming.

Diesel and furnace oil prices stayed the same. Propane is down by 1.4 cents a litre.
