New Brunswick gas prices will likely go up at midnight – but not by very much.
Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says a slight increase of up to 1.5 cents per litre is expected overnight.
“Unfortunately, the HST will have a bit of an impact with prices going up a little bit on the gasoline side,” he notes.
Meanwhile, McTeague believes diesel prices will drop this week by about 2 cents per litre.
Looking ahead to next week, he believes gasoline could drop by several cents per litre.
