Two New Brunswickers won $52,230 betting on Pro Line this week.
In advance of the regular football season starting, Mark Strickland of Moncton, and Rob Spencer of Salisbury got together last week to chat about what might happen in some upcoming football games as they planned their bets.
They said they look for ‘feel good stories’, which led them to place a bet on the New York Jets beating the Detroit Lions as a seven point underdog.
On Monday, they won three separate wagers, worth $17,010.70, $16,531.50, and $18, 687.80.
According to Atlantic Lottery, Strickland and Spencer’s win marks the 13th largest Pro line cheque ever awarded in the region.
