NB dairy sold to Quebec company

Members of New Brunswick’s Northumberland Dairy Cooperative Limited have voted in favour of selling the dairy operation to Quebec-based Agropur Dairy Cooperative.

Northumberland Dairy General Manager Jack Christie says few changes are expected for consumers including prices.

Christie says the milk will continue to be processed in Miramichi as it has been done for 60 years and all of the producers are on board with Agropur.

The packaging for milk products will be the same and we will stil see those familiar trucks delivering milk.
