New Brunswick reported one new case of COVID-19 Saturday.
The new case was discovered in the Saint John health zone – an individual in their 20s. No word on the source of the case, but a press release from Public Health indicated they are self-isolating.
There are now 72 active cases in the province, down from 78 Friday.
33 of those cases are in the Saint John zone, and 14 are in the Edmundston region, which moved to the orange phase of COVID-19 recovery Friday.
4 individuals are still in New Brunswick hospitals fighting the virus, 3 of whom are in the I-C-U.
