A New Brunswick RCMP officer has been charged with sexual assault.
The Serious Incident Response Team (SiRT) announced the charge on Tuesday.
It said the alleged incident happened on May 16-17, 2022.
The officer was off-duty at the time and the victim is known to him.
He is due to appear in Campbellton Provincial Court on Jan. 29.
