N.B. Likely To Have Extended Fall Season

If you liked the heat this summer, the Weather Network thinks it will stick around for a while longer.

In the fall forecast, meteorologist Michael Carter says there will be quick shots of cold but the season looks decent overall.

“We’re looking for some above normal temperatures to take hold this fall. So maybe a nice extended fall season… a longer period of time to get out and enjoy those last few months of milder temperatures before the winter sets in.”

Carter says we should see more precipitation this fall which is good news since some parts of New Brunswick are now in an extreme drought.

He adds the warm waters of the Atlantic and an increase in tropical storm activity this year will help bring some of that moisture.
