N.B. Gas Prices Set To Rise

Gas prices are expected to jump in New Brunswick this week.

But Dan McTeague says it’s not related to Thanksgiving weekend since the market is U.S.-based.

The president of Canadians for Affordable Energy thinks gasoline will increase by about five cents per litre.

There is some uncertainty about diesel after a spike last weekend.

The current maximum price for regular self-serve gasoline is $1.619 and the current maximum for diesel is $2.093.

Prices will be adjusted at midnight by the Energy and Utilities Board.
