N.B. gas prices going up … again

Another weekend in New Brunswick, another interrupter clause to raise gas prices.

An industry source reported the Energy and Utilities Board will once again use the clause and drivers will be paying more at the pumps on Saturday.

The price of regular self-serve is predicted to go up 4.8 cents per litre, bringing the maximum to more than $1.83.

Diesel will also be on the way up, a 4.4-cent increase bringing the maximum price over $2.21 per litre.

Regular adjustments are made by the EUB at 12:01 a.m. every Friday.
