N.B. Fuel Prices May Drop This Week

Fuel prices have been on a rollercoaster ride in New Brunswick lately but what about this week?

Dan McTeague with Canadians for Affordable Energy anticipates drivers could see a drop of three cents per litre for gasoline.

Diesel could fall by about four cents per litre.

Prices will be adjusted at midnight by the Energy and Utilities Board.

Volatility in world crude oil prices prompted the EUB to invoke the interrupter clause several times in the last two weeks.

Currently, regular self-serve has a maximum price of $1.709 per litre, diesel is at $1.781 and heating oil is at $1.602.
