N.B. Day: What’s open and closed in Greater Moncton

Monday is New Brunswick Day, and that means many places normally open on a weekday will not be.

Malls, big-box stores and most grocery stores will be closed throughout the province.

If you need a prescription, some drug stores will be open reduced hours.

NB Liquor and Cannabis NB stores will be closed, but agency liquor outlets will be open.

Banks, post offices and all government offices will also be closed, and there will be no mail delivery.

Codiac Transpo will not be operating on New Brunswick Day. Regular service will resume on Tuesday.

If you are unsure if something is open, it is best to call ahead.

This year’s official New Brunswick Day celebrations are taking place in Doaktown.
