Some good news for those who enjoy municipal parks.
With the recent closure of both provincial parks and national parks given the pandemic, many had questions about whether municipal parks should still be open.
The City of Moncton says it has received clarification from the province that city parks and green spaces can remain open.
However, physical distancing guidelines must still be followed by keeping at least two metres away from others.
No gatherings in parks are permitted.
As a reminder, playground structures remain closed for sanitary reasons.
