RCMP seized a large shipment of illegal smokes following a traffic stop on Main Street in Shediac.
More than 400 cartons of contraband cigarettes and cigars were seized along with a quantity of marijuana on Wednesday night.
A 43-year-old Shediac man and a 45-year-old Grand Barachois man were arrested and later released.
The pair are expected to face charges when they appear in court in May 2015.
