You’re going to notice a difference at the gas pumps this morning.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board made its price adjustment at midnight, and the price of regular self serve jumped by 2.6 cents a litre.
Most stations in Moncton are selling for around 108.9 to 109.1 this morning.
Senior petroleum analyst with Gasbuddy.com Dan McTeague says this is the time of year when refineries change over from winter to summer fuel, and that causes the price to jump.
As for other prices, Diesel and furnace oil are both down point 8 cents a litre, after an additonal price adjustment was made last Friday. Propane is down 2.5 cents a litre.
