Most Of New Brunswick Under Heat Warning

Get ready for more heat and humidity over the next couple of days.

Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for most of New Brunswick.

Forecasters say humidex values are expected to reach between 36 and 39 on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The exception is along the Fundy coast, where conditions will be a tad bit cooler.

Temperatures will cool off a bit by Thursday as some rain moves into the region, but forecasters say the humidity will remain very high.

The Department of Health has also issued a Level 1 heat alert for most of the province, which means certain vulnerable people may be affected.
