It was another big weekend for the Terry Fox run.
In Greater Moncton, over 200 people took part in the 34th annual event, held yesterday along the Riverfront Trail. More than $11, 000 was raised to help in the fight against cancer.
Across the country, about 220,000 Canadians laced up their sneakers to walk or run for the cause.
The Terry Fox Foundation has raised more than $650 million has been raised worldwide for cancer research since it was established in the 1980’s.
