If you were hoping Spring would make a comeback with a vengeance, you’re fresh out of luck.
According to Environment Canada Meteorologist Claude Cote, spring might have sprung, but it’s going to spring back.
Cote says the entire month of April will be much cooler in New Brunswick than normal. “It looks like it will be a very gradual increase in the temperature regime and the latest we can look right now is mid-April. I really don’t see any days with temperatures in the double digits.”
He says we probably won’t see double-digit temperatures until the end of April.
However, on a lighter note, with cooler temperatures, and close to freezing at nighttime, Cote says this will keep local flooding at bay.
