Moncton YWCA Receives Donation From Drug Store Chain

YWCA Moncton has received a $100,000 donation from local Shoppers Drug Mart owners to support the new centre for women and children.

The drug store chain raised the money through their annual Growing Women’s Health Campaign and will be used to create a women’s resource centre in the new facility.

YWCA Moncton’s Executive Director Jewell Mitchell says the donation shows a strong commitment from Shoppers Drug Mart to support women’s health and well-being.

The new YW Jean Irving Centre is located on Kendra Street in Moncton.
