Habitat for Humanity is seeking a few good women – about 200 to be exact – to help build a new home on Ayer Avenue in Moncton next month.
Women can be flexible with their commitment by offering a donation or by volunteering their time.
Spokesperson Joni Fleck Andrews says they have already started to reach out to women in Southeastern New Brunswick.
“The goal is to empower women to come together to build houses, build their skills set and to try something new. Obviously the outcome is to build affordable housing for families in need,” she notes.
Fleck Andrews says the goal is to raise $100,000 to build the new home.
