The Moncton Wildcats have released Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations John Torchetti.
In a statement, the team says the decision was made for internal reasons and the search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
Assistant Coach Darryl Boyce has been named interim Head Coach while Ritchie Thibeau will oversee hockey operations.
The release also states that because this is a personnel-related matter, the organization will have no further comment.
