The Moncton Wildcats have a new lease agreement with the City of Moncton.
It was ratified during last night’s Moncton City Council meeting, and it will extend through the end of the 2018 playoff season.
Mayor Dawn Arnold says this extension provides the city with a great segue into the new facility that will open in September of 2018.
President of the Moncton Wildcats Robert Irving says with this lease in place, they can now focus on reaching an agreement for a move to the Downtown Centre in 2018.
