Moncton Wildcats Move Into New Home

We’re less than a month away from training camp for the Moncton Wildcats.

It will be a new experience for the players with a move to their new home ice at the downtown events centre.

Director of Business Operations Ryan Jenner says that comes with state of the art locker rooms for the players, that were designed after spending over two years travelling around North America looking at training facilities.

“We wanted to see what the global standard would be for a training facility and we took what we learned into account as we designed our space. We will certainly have one of the nicest locker room facilities in Junior Hockey,” Jenner says.

Jenner adds, “The locker room will have things like a lounge, full kitchen and full training facility, and everything they need to perform at their highest level.”

Having a top notch facility, helps to attract players to want to play with the Wildcats. The players want to play in a nice environment and they are certainly going to have that here. In terms of the players want and choice of location of where they want to play, we will be very high on their list,” Jenner says.

Training camp begins on August 15th, and the Wildcats homeopener will be played on September 28th, and the new downtown events centre.
