The Moncton Wildcats organization is mourning the loss of a member of their team.
Les Stoodley passed away on Monday at the age of 75, after a two year battle with cancer.
Director of Business Operations Ryan Jenner says he spent three seasons as the voice of the Wildcats.
He says, “I know from others, Les always had a good story to tell. He was well versed in many things. He was well respected well. The passing of Les was very challenging because he was a piece of our history.”
Stoodley started his broadcasting career in Newfoundland and also hosted a quiz show on CBC for high school students.
He also spent several years at our sister station in Bridgewater during the mid-to-late 90s and early in 2000.
