Moncton Wildcats gear up for QMJHL regular season

It is the time of year junior hockey fans across the Maritimes have been waiting for.

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League regular season begins on Friday night.

But Moncton Wildcats fans will have to wait a bit longer to see the team on home ice.

The Wildcats are on the road on Friday to face the Cape Breton Eagles in Sydney.

Moncton’s first home game is next Saturday night against the Halifax Mooseheads.

Those two teams faced off in the QMJHL quarter-finals in the 2022-23 season. Halifax took the best-of-seven series in five games.
