The City of Moncton has named a new fire chief and he hails from the neighbouring City of Dieppe.
Conrad Landry has been appointed to the role after having served as Dieppe’s fire chief since 2016 and deputy chief for six years prior to that.
Landry has worked in emergency services since 1988.
Current Moncton Fire Chief Eric Arsenault will soon be retiring after 35 years of dedicated service with the City’s fire department.
Arsenault will stay on for the next few weeks during the transition period.
Landry will officially take over on November 5th.
