Hockey moms and dads are stocking up on coffee, the season is near.
Registration for the Moncton Minor Hockey Association will be held on Saturday, September 12th.
President for the Moncton Minor Hockey Association Brian Gaudet says boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 17 can play. The younger players start in IP, which doesn’t involve many organized games. Coaches work on developing skating and stick handling skills first.
Gaudet emphasizes that it’s not all about the scoreboard, it’s about making sure the kids have fun.
The Association is always in need of volunteers and parents are encouraged to come out and lend a hand.
