The game of hockey can be a costly endeavour, but most kids would like to try the game at least one.
The Bauer First Shift program gives them the chance to get a taste of the game, with no commitment. It is being offered by the Moncton Minor Hockey Association this year.
$199 gets your child 6 sessions where they learn the basics of the game, plus all of the their equipment.
Association President Brian Gaudet says the program isn’t put on until October, but he encourages everyone to get registered soon HERE because there are only a few spots left.
